Description: A chamber set into the cleanroom wall with doors either side. The Air-shower enables the plant personnel to enter from the none-clean space in to the cleanroom with minimal contamination.

Operation: A door interlock only permits one door to be open at any one time therefore, only when the first door is closed can the second door be opened an override button is provided should the lock system fail. Personnel enter the shower from the change area and with both doors closed the shower process can be started. The operator pushes a button and he/she is subjected to a high velocity air draft from side and top for a period of up to 60 seconds. Air is recalculated and filtered.

Noise: Air shower operation shall not result in noise levels in excess of NC60 in the adjacent space or 85 dBA inside the air shower.

Outline:

1. Minimum 2 HP high pressure blower for wall nozzles.
2. HEPA filters downstream of blowers, Capable of removing 99.99% at 0.3μm size.
3. Air jet wall nozzles, 6 located on each side and 2 in the ceiling 20~25m/s.
4. Pre-filter, minimum 5μm 30 % efficiency.
5. Light fixtures 20W×1.

Doors: 2 doors which are to have mechanical or electrical interlock such that only one door maybe open at any one time. Each door to be half glazed with colorless glass and suitable handle.

Fittings:Internal lighting, filters, fans, air direction nozzles, start/stop button

Finish：Air-shower finish is to be compatible with cleanroom environment and omplimentary to general decor. Body material is plywood covered sus all set.

Construction:
a. Air showers fully self-contained and self-supporting, datable of supporting main- tenance.

Mechanical: Blowers and Fans
1.Size high speed blower cfm for velocity at impact of 7,000 fpm
2.Provide blower with permanent indication of correct rotation direction attached to blower housing.
3.Wall jet nozzles : Adjustable directional nozzle outlets securable to prevent personnel tampering.

Electrical:
Main Electrical Panels :
a.Factory premiered electrical panel with three-pole circuit breaker for connection to 480 volt, 3-phase power, motors, magnetic starter, interlock relay, automatic adjustable timers, and control transformer. Provide additional breakers for internally transformed 120 volt power for the lighting and control transformer circuits.
b.Panel and components shall be approved.
c.Panel shall be located to be readily accessible and shall be installed to allow for all required code clearances.
b.Disconnect : Provide three (3)pole, non-fused disconnect at each motor.
c.Electrical service to air shower shall be at a single-point connection.
