FUME HOOD
Stainless Steel Perchloric Acid Hoods are designed specifically for procedures involving the use of perchloric acid. Available in 4, 5 and 6 foot widths, each is constructed of steel and includes an integral work surface and washdown system.

• By-pass airflow design
• Steel interior with integral bottom and drainage trough is welded and polished to provide a smooth, seamless and safe work area. A hardboard supporting work surface is also included.
• Vapor-proof incandescent lights
• Vertical-rising tempered safety glass sash protects the operator while providing excellent visibility.
• Airflow warning light on blower switch is connected to a pressure sensor and alerts the operator to a drop in airflow velocity.
• Built-in washdown system is manually operated by a control fixture on the left front to facilitate removal of hazardous perchlorates from the hood interior and ductwork. Four remotely-controlled service fixtures are factory installed.
